5 Easy Chicken Meal Preps that will Feed You For A Month
Hi Busies!
I’ve been there more times than I want to remember – getting in the car after a long day of work, dreading:
- option A – getting home from work & spending 40+ minutes in the kitchen to make dinner *dramatically holding hand to forehead*
- option B – extending my commute/sitting in traffic to grab a takeout meal that would probably be cold by the time I got home anyway…grrrr.
Finally, I decided to break the cycle. I did a mega planning session, went on a mega shopping trip, and did a mega meal prep weekend. The type A in me was doing cartwheels with excitement!
Everything was so organized. There were calendars, there were lists, there were calculations ($4 per serving – so much cheaper than that takeout that’s cold by the time I get home!). There were even spreadsheets. The Monica Gellers of the world will share my excitement. Have I mentioned that Friends has been on in the background of my life pretty much nonstop lately?
I’ll refrain from fangirling over meal prep too much, because everyone’s meal prep needs are different and I know what works for me won’t work for everyone. So, if you’re not quite ready for The Big Bite, these 5 easy chicken meal preps are a great way to get started, without being so extra. They can all be prepped in advance and frozen for those busy nights when you. just. can’t.
